We have arrived! The flight was an easy 6.5 hours. We had a bit of turbulence, but other than that the pilot seemed quite skilled. We split up into rooms of two, as we checked into our first hotel. Rothenberg is an amazing city that kind of looks like streets filled with these little fairy-tale houses. Our tour guide is amazing. Her name is Julianne, she is 31 and teaches German to French students.So, naturally Ms. Wingo and I have a lot in common with her. She is absolutely lovely, and very knowledgable in the history of the countries where we are going. That's it for now. We will keep you in the loop as our adventure continues.
